Who is St Raphael?
St Raphael, also known as Archangel Raphael, is the patron saint of healers, doctors, therapists and all who are in vocational, heart-centred service to the wellbeing of others.
Raphael’s name means “God heals” or “God has healed.” It is based on the Hebrew word rapha, meaning “doctor” or “healer.” He is also one of the four archangels in Islamic tradition where his name is Israfil.
You can invoke Archangel Raphael when you need help or healing. He also helps us when we undertake inner spiritual journeys, assisting us in our search for truth and guidance.
Raphael works alongside the Divine Mother holding a focus of light for us from their temple in the etheric plains over Fátima in Portugal. His presence is usually marked by flashes of emerald-green light.
